Date and Almond Smoothie

This is one of the most energy-booster smoothie ever. You can have it for breakfast or just as a refreshment.

Serves: 2

Preparation time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • Unsweetened almond milk - 1/2 cup
  • Dates - 1/2 cup pitted
  • Pistachios - 1 tablespoon
  • Walnuts - 1 tablespoon
  • Banana - 1 (small)
  • Almond butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Ice cubes - 1 cup

 

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine dates and almond milk. Chill overnight.
  • In a blender, combine almond butter, banana, walnuts, pistachios, honey, almond milk, and dates. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add ice. Blend again.
  • Serve chilled.
